A fashion designer directly designs products that reflect their own personality and their influence on society. With the advancement of technology and culture, the methods of art and design has also progressed over time. The way in which humans spread their own cultures has vastly changed in the Age of Information and the boundaries between different industries are also beginning to dissolve. The imagination of a fashion designer is capable of breaking through confinement of any and all ideologies, and is able to be displayed in all varieties and ways. There are those that are novel, those that are eccentric and wild, and those that take on an abstract effect. They appear in extreme colours that compare against each other, causing the inevitable vision adjustments humans have to make to adapt to the new view.
Fashion has a never-ending display of different forms, some even abstruse. How to view the art of fashion and how to appreciate language carried in the designs themselves has become a major focus of the Information Age. A fashion designer must have a very strong sense of aesthetics and set of core values. What they design is worn in daily life, something that not only needs to be stylish but also subtle and elegant so that these designs never become obsolete. As such, a fashion designer must forget that they are themselves in the process and instead realise that they are designing to show what they want to express.
