Interaction Deisgn

Interaction Design (IxD) is the design of interactive products and services in which a designer's focus goes beyond the item in development to include the way users will interact with it. Thus, close scrutiny of users' needs, limitations and contexts, etc. empowers designers to customize output to suit precise demands. The goal of interactive system design can be analyzed from the two levels of "usability" and "user experience", focusing on people-oriented user needs.

Interaction designer draw upon user data, research and team input to generate interaction concepts that enable seamless and relevant experiences for their users. They first conduct user research related areas, as well as potential users, to design the behavior of artifacts, and to evaluate design quality in terms of usefulness, usability and emotional factors.

Interaction design belongs to a broad discipline, mainly divided into human-computer interaction, multimedia design and graphic design content with visual expression such as UI and web interface.
